This is WHY here. I will be doing some periodic blogging to document my journey here about opening a small business on my own. First of all, I would love to give shoutout to all my friends and family for all their support and love. Your encouragement are very much needed. If you know me well, I am someone who tends to doubt herself a lot, and always wondering if I am good enough. Without your continuous support, I don't think WHY Gemmes would be possible.
Opening a small business may seem easy, but NOOOOOO! I realized that there are SO many little things that I need to account for when opening a shop. Being the perfectionist that I am, I had to make sure that I got all the colours and fonts coordinated. From a store opening email down to the lighting on the photos, I had to ensure the entire customer experience are visually appealing. Of course, most importantly, I make certain that my choices of crystals are high quality and unique! At this moment, I curate all the pieces one by one and not by lots.
I have to say, I really enjoy the process of creating something from scratch and seeing it slowly transform into the final product that it is now. Needless to say, the "WHY Gemmes" today still requires a lot of improvements, but I am proud of myself for designing and managing all those milestones that comes with building this website.
I hope you enjoy visiting WHY Gemmes as much as I enjoy designing it. The next batch of crystals will be coming soon in Jan 2023! I can ensure you that they will only get more beautiful!
